FAQs
Common questions about our testing services, coverage, and accreditations.
Concrete cube testing is the standard method for verifying the compressive strength of concrete used in construction. Cubes are cast from fresh concrete, cured under controlled conditions, and crushed in a laboratory to measure strength in N/mm². It is a key compliance requirement under BS EN 12390 and is required on most UK construction projects to confirm the concrete meets the specified design strength.
For on-site tests such as slump tests and plate bearing tests, same-day written results are available. For cube testing, results are issued after the curing period at 7 or 28 days as required by your specification. Contact us to discuss your specific turnaround requirements.
